Agreement to terms

By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use PDFTurner.

What PDFTurner is

PDFTurner provides tools to merge, split, extract, organize, convert, and flatten PDF files. Merge, Split, Extract Pages, Organize, PDF to Image, and Flatten run entirely in your browser and are free to use. Additional tools that require server-side processing may be offered as a paid tier in the future; where that is the case, it will be clearly marked before you use them.

Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you process using PDFTurner. For the browser-based tools, we never receive your files, so we have no rights to them at all. For any server-side tool, we process your file solely to perform the operation you requested and claim no ownership over its contents — see our Privacy Policy for how those files are handled.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any document you upload or open with PDFTurner, and for complying with any laws that apply to that document (for example, confidentiality obligations or data protection law covering personal information it contains).

Acceptable use

You agree not to use PDFTurner to:

• ✓Process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to handle
• ✓Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
• ✓Reverse-engineer or scrape the service beyond ordinary use
• ✓Misrepresent your identity in a way intended to cause harm

What our tools do and don’t guarantee

Our tools perform the specific operation they describe. Some of them are easy to misread as doing more than that — worth being precise about here:

Flatten merges form fields, annotations, and other interactive elements into the page so they can no longer be edited separately in most PDF viewers. It is not encryption, password protection, or a guarantee against modification — someone using specialized software could still alter or recreate the document’s content. If you need access control, use a dedicated password or permissions tool.

None of our tools guarantee that a processed file is identical in every technical respect to the original beyond the specific change requested (for example, merging or splitting). You are responsible for checking the output before relying on it for anything important — a signed contract, a legal filing, or similar.

No warranty, limitation of liability

PDFTurner is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFTurner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PDFTurner, including loss of data, business, or revenue.

Because the browser-based tools never transmit your files to us, we have no ability to recover a file you lose or damage while using them — keep your own backup of anything important before editing it.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of PDFTurner at any time. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes, particularly to paid features, but we don’t guarantee advance notice for every change.
